Tot i que en la majoria dels casos es considera, per raons pr\u00e0ctiques, que la Lluna no t\u00e9 atmosfera, la veritat \u00e9s que s\u00ed que en t\u00e9. No obstant, \u00e9s una capa tan fina de gasos que quasi no es pot considerar com atmosfera. De fet, ens referim a ella com una exosfera (\u00e9s a dir, quasi com el buit de l\u2019espai).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En una exosfera, els gasos estan tan separats que molt rarament col\u00b7lisionen els uns amb els altres. L\u2019atmosfera de la Lluna cont\u00e9 unes 100.000 mol\u00e8cules per cent\u00edmetre c\u00fabic. En comparaci\u00f3, al nivell del mar a la Terra, cada cent\u00edmetre c\u00fabic cont\u00e9 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 mol\u00e8cules. La massa total de l\u2019exosfera de la Lluna \u00e9s de tan sols 25 tones, la mateixa que un cami\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Composici\u00f3 de l\u2019atmosfera<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">L\u2019atmosfera de la Lluna est\u00e0 composta per tres elements principals: l\u2019arg\u00f3, l\u2019heli, i el ne\u00f3. A part, tamb\u00e9 existeixen altres gasos en quantitats molt menors, com el sodi, el potassi, o l\u2019hidrogen. Aix\u00f2 ho sabem gr\u00e0cies a un instrument anomenat <em>Lunar Atmospheric Composition Experiment <\/em>(LACE) que la missi\u00f3 Apol\u00b7lo 17 va deixar sobre la superf\u00edcie del nostre sat\u00e8l\u00b7lit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">L\u2019atmosfera de la Lluna no est\u00e0 repartida uniformement al voltant d\u2019ella. Hi ha algunes zones m\u00e9s denses que d\u2019altres, depenent de factors com la temperatura de la superf\u00edcie, el camp magn\u00e8tic, o el <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmoespai.com\/cat\/de-que-esta-compost-el-vent-solar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vent solar<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Origen i evoluci\u00f3 dels gasos de l\u2019atmosfera<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Un dels fen\u00f2mens que crea la fina atmosfera de la Lluna \u00e9s l\u2019alliberament de gasos des de l\u2019interior de la Lluna, degut al deca\u00efment d\u2019alguns elements radioactius. Al ser alliberats, la majoria dels gasos surten disparats cap a l\u2019espai en poc temps. Nom\u00e9s alguns d\u2019aquests gasos acaben formant part de la t\u00e8nue atmosfera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Un altre dels factors que aporta m\u00e9s gasos a l\u2019atmosfera \u00e9s l\u2019impacte de la llum solar o del vent solar sobre la superf\u00edcie de la Lluna. Els fotons i les part\u00edcules energ\u00e8tiques del vent solar poden descompondre materials a la superf\u00edcie de la Lluna, deixant anar \u00e0toms i mol\u00e8cules a la t\u00e8nue atmosfera del sat\u00e8l\u00b7lit. Aquest mateix proc\u00e9s tamb\u00e9 el pot causar l\u2019impacte de meteorits, de petita o gran mida, sobre la Lluna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Quan una cara de la Lluna no rep llum del Sol, la temperatura de la seva superf\u00edcie baixa en gran mesura. Aquesta caiguda de la temperatura provoca l\u2019efecte contrari del que s\u2019ha explicat anteriorment.
