S\u00f3n els responsables de moltes morts i ferides greus cada any. Per protegir els edificis del possible impacte d\u2019un llamp s\u2019instal\u00b7len els parallamps, que consisteixen en una estructura de metall que permet atreure els llamps dirigits a un edifici. La finalitat dels parallamps \u00e9s reduir o eliminar els danys que podria causar un llamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Com funcionen els parallamps?<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En realitat, el mecanisme de funcionament dels parallamps \u00e9s molt senzill. Els llamps contenen una quantitat descomunal d\u2019energia, que pot ser desastrosa per qualsevol objecte que no condueixi l\u2019electricitat. La pe\u00e7a principal del parallamps \u00e9s una esp\u00e8cie de \u00abbast\u00f3\u00bb de metall, d\u2019alguns cent\u00edmetres de di\u00e0metre. A part de ser unes xifres inimaginables, aquest voltatge \u00e9s extremadament perill\u00f3s.
