Aquesta llum omple l\u2019univers en totes les direccions, i ens permet estudiar amb precisi\u00f3 l\u2019evoluci\u00f3 i l\u2019estructura del cosmos a grans escales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A causa de l\u2019expansi\u00f3 de l\u2019univers, els fotons que formen el fons c\u00f2smic de microones han perdut molta energia, i pertanyen a la regi\u00f3 de les microones (d\u2019aqu\u00ed el seu nom) de l\u2019espectre electromagn\u00e8tic. Per aquest motiu, no som capa\u00e7os de veure aquest romanent del Big Bang, tot i que potents radiotelescopis permeten captar aquesta senyal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>L\u2019univers primitiu i la primera llum<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Durant els primers 380 000 anys despr\u00e9s del Big Bang, l\u2019univers era una sopa calenta de part\u00edcules i fotons. En aquest per\u00edode de temps, la temperatura era molt elevada i les nombroses col\u00b7lisions entre part\u00edcules i fotons no permetien la formaci\u00f3 d\u2019\u00e0toms. Totes aquestes col\u00b7lisions tamb\u00e9 signifiquen que l\u2019univers en aquella \u00e8poca era opac, ja que els fotons no podien viatjar grans dist\u00e0ncies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Despr\u00e9s de 380 000 anys del Big Bang, l\u2019univers va esdevenir suficientment fred i gran per permetre la formaci\u00f3 d\u2019\u00e0toms estables (majorit\u00e0riament hidrogen i heli). Aquest esdeveniment s\u2019anomena recombinaci\u00f3. Amb l\u2019abs\u00e8ncia de part\u00edcules lliures, els fotons van poder viatjar lliurement a trav\u00e9s del cosmos, que va esdevenir transparent i ple d\u2019aquesta radiaci\u00f3 produ\u00efda en el moment de la recombinaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Aquesta llum (el fons c\u00f2smic de microones) la podem veure mitjan\u00e7ant radiotelescopis situats tant a la Terra com a l\u2019espai. Com que la recombinaci\u00f3 va tenir lloc en la totalitat de l\u2019univers, veiem el fons c\u00f2smic de microones venint de totes les direccions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Estudi del fons c\u00f2smic de microones: una imatge de l\u2019univers<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">El fons c\u00f2smic de microones \u00e9s molt \u00fatil als cient\u00edfics ja que els permet estudiar l\u2019evoluci\u00f3 de l\u2019univers i altres aspectes sobre la formaci\u00f3 d\u2019estrelles i gal\u00e0xies. La temperatura d\u2019aquest fons c\u00f2smic \u00e9s incre\u00efblement uniforme: les regions amb variacions de temperatura m\u00e9s pronunciades difereixen d\u2019una part en cent-mil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Les imatges d\u2019aquesta radiaci\u00f3 que omple l\u2019espai tamb\u00e9 ens han perm\u00e8s estudiar l\u2019estructura del cosmos a grans escales. Com es pot observar a la imatge superior, les regions m\u00e9s calentes (marcades pel color vermell) corresponen a regions de gran densitat, on es troben c\u00famuls de gal\u00e0xies. En canvi, les regions m\u00e9s fredes tenen una densitat de mat\u00e8ria molt m\u00e9s baixa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La gran uniformitat del fons c\u00f2smic de microones tamb\u00e9 ens ajuda a entendre un aspecte molt important de l\u2019univers primitiu. Dos punts oposats de l\u2019espai no haurien de tenir quasi la mateixa temperatura, ja que en el moment de la recombinaci\u00f3 no estaven a prop un de l\u2019altre, i la llum no hauria tingut temps de portar la informaci\u00f3 d\u2019un punt a l\u2019altre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">L\u2019explicaci\u00f3 m\u00e9s acceptada per aquest fenomen \u00e9s la inflaci\u00f3. Segons aquesta teoria, una fracci\u00f3 de segon despr\u00e9s del Big Bang, fluctuacions qu\u00e0ntiques van fer que l\u2019univers s\u2019expand\u00eds a un ritme descomunal.
