A la Terra, el vent solar \u00e9s el responsable de la formaci\u00f3 de les <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmoespai.com\/cat\/els-millors-llocs-i-epoques-per-veure-les-aurores-boreals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aurores boreals<\/a><\/strong>, per\u00f2 pot tenir efectes perjudicials en els sat\u00e8l\u00b7lits que orbiten la Terra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>La seva composici\u00f3<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">El vent solar est\u00e0 compost per plasma, un estat de la mat\u00e8ria en el qual els \u00e0toms han estat ionitzats, \u00e9s a dir, han perdut un o m\u00e9s electrons. Per tant, el vent solar est\u00e0 compost per electrons que viatgen lliurement a trav\u00e9s l\u2019espai, i els nuclis (formats per protons i neutrons) que els electrons han deixat enrere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A m\u00e9s, com que el Sol est\u00e0 compost per hidrogen i heli en un 98%, els nuclis d\u2019\u00e0toms presents en el vent solar s\u00f3n majorit\u00e0riament els d\u2019aquests dos elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>L\u2019emissi\u00f3 del vent solar<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A l\u2019igual que la Terra, el Sol est\u00e0 compost per diverses capes. La capa m\u00e9s superficial (la m\u00e9s allunyada del nucli) s\u2019anomena corona, i est\u00e0 a una temperatura d\u2019aproximadament 1,1 milions de graus Celsius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La corona no \u00e9s la superf\u00edcie del Sol en s\u00ed, sin\u00f3 que \u00e9s una esp\u00e8cie de \u00abn\u00favol\u00bb (d\u2019aqu\u00ed el nom de corona) que se situa a sobre de la veritable superf\u00edcie solar, i s\u2019est\u00e9n fins uns 10 milions de kil\u00f2metres d\u2019aquesta superf\u00edcie. \u00c9s aproximadament a aquesta dist\u00e0ncia on hi ha un punt de transici\u00f3 a partir del qual la corona es converteix en vent solar.
