Al llarg de la hist\u00f2ria, i amb desenvolupaments tecnol\u00f2gics que permeten mesures cada cop m\u00e9s precises, s\u2019ha pogut establir l\u2019edat de la Terra amb molta precisi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Les dificultats associades<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Tot i que en un primer moment, mesurar l\u2019edat de la Terra podria semblar una tasca f\u00e0cil, no ho \u00e9s en absolut. En efecte, no n\u2019hi ha prou amb agafar una pedra i mirar quan es va formar: la Terra \u00e9s un planeta molt actiu, amb erupcions volc\u00e0niques i moviments de les plaques tect\u00f2niques que constantment reciclen roques velles per d\u2019altres de noves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A m\u00e9s, altres processos que ens podrien ajudar a estimar l\u2019edat de la Terra, tamb\u00e9 s\u00f3n processos que no s\u00f3n constants a trav\u00e9s del temps, i que per tant no ens serveixen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Una soluci\u00f3 per a aquest problema<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Com que no podem trobar les roques primordials al nostre planeta, els cient\u00edfics van haver de trobar solucions alternatives, com mesurar l\u2019edat de cossos celestes sense activitat geol\u00f2gica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Per exemple, les roques lunars que van portar els astronautes durant les missions Apollo mostren una edat superior a les roques trobades a la Terra. No obstant, tot i que avui en dia la Lluna \u00e9s un cos amb molt poca activitat geol\u00f2gica, no sempre ha estat aix\u00ed. Molts cient\u00edfics afirmen que la Lluna va ser molt activa al principi de la seva hist\u00f2ria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Encara que les roques de la Lluna presenten edats molt m\u00e9s velles que les roques de la Terra, no s\u00f3n primordials. \u00c9s per aquest motiu que va sorgir la idea de mesurar l\u2019edat dels meteorits. Com que est\u00e0 acceptat que tots els cossos que formen el sistema solar es van formar al mateix temps, aix\u00f2 significa que un meteorit tindr\u00e0 la mateixa edat que el nostre planeta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Una edat definitiva<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Gr\u00e0cies a la mesura de l\u2019edat de meteorits que van impactar contra la Terra, avui en dia sabem que la Terra t\u00e9 una edat aproximada de 4 600 milions d\u2019anys, a l\u2019igual que la resta de cossos del sistema solar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Tot i que he comentat que les pedres a la Terra es regeneren constantment, s\u2019han trobat pedres al Nord-Oest de Canad\u00e0 que daten de 4 030 milions d\u2019anys. A m\u00e9s, les pedres lunars analitzades mostren una edat de 4 400 milions d\u2019anys.
