A l\u2019igual que el Gran Cany\u00f3, aquest lloc podria ser una atracci\u00f3 tur\u00edstica molt important del planeta vermell quan, en el futur, hi hagi una col\u00f2nia humana de grans dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Caracter\u00edstiques<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Aquesta enorme estructura marciana cobreix quasi una cinquena part de la circumfer\u00e8ncia de Mart, i es troba just a sota de l\u2019equador marci\u00e0. Comen\u00e7a a l\u2019oest, al Noctis Labyrinthus, un sistema de valls i canyons laber\u00edntics, i s\u2019estira cap a l\u2019est fins arribar a prop de la conca de Chryse Planitia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Valles Marineris t\u00e9 una llargada d\u2019uns 4 000 kil\u00f2metres, una amplada mitjana de 300 kil\u00f2metres, i algunes de les seves zones arriben a tenir una profunditat de 10 kil\u00f2metres. Si Valles Marineris es trob\u00e9s a la Terra, cobriria els Estats Units, des de Los Angeles fins a la costa Atl\u00e0ntica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En comparaci\u00f3, el Gran Cany\u00f3 nom\u00e9s t\u00e9 446 kil\u00f2metres de llargada, un m\u00e0xim de 30 kil\u00f2metres d\u2019amplada, i 1,6 kil\u00f2metres de profunditat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>La seva formaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Hi ha hagut moltes teories sobre la formaci\u00f3 de Valles Marineris, que han anat canviant a trav\u00e9s dels anys. Avui en dia, molts cient\u00edfics creuen que la formaci\u00f3 de la regi\u00f3 de Tharsis va poder ajudar a la formaci\u00f3 del cany\u00f3. La regi\u00f3 de Tharsis cont\u00e9 uns quants volcans d\u2019immenses dimensions, com el <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmoespai.com\/cat\/2021\/11\/13\/el-mont-olimp-el-volca-mes-gran-del-sistema-solar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mont Olimp<\/a><\/strong>, amb una altura de 25 kil\u00f2metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Segons aquesta teoria, la gran activitat volc\u00e0nica que tenia lloc al planeta fa bilions d\u2019anys, va obrir grans fractures i esquerdes a la superf\u00edcie. Aquestes fractures, fent-se m\u00e9s grans amb el temps, van donar lloc al que avui coneixem com a Valles Marineris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Les esquerdes que s\u2019expandien van provocar que el terra s\u2019enfons\u00e9s, i aix\u00f2 va donar lloc a l\u2019aparici\u00f3 de diverses fuites per on sortia aigua subterr\u00e0nia (cal recordar que en aquells temps hi havia aigua l\u00edquida fluint per la superf\u00edcie del planeta). El l\u00edquid va trencar les vores de les fractures, engrandint-les i emportant-se el terra m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 mentre flu\u00efa. A mesura que passava el temps el cany\u00f3 es va anar erosionant, per formar el que avui en dia \u00e9s el cany\u00f3 m\u00e9s gran del sistema solar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
