{"id":440,"date":"2021-09-03T16:40:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-03T14:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cosmoespai.com\/cat\/?p=440"},"modified":"2021-09-02T19:02:23","modified_gmt":"2021-09-02T17:02:23","slug":"lenorme-explosio-del-supervolca-toba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cosmoespai.com\/cat\/lenorme-explosio-del-supervolca-toba\/","title":{"rendered":"L\u2019enorme explosi\u00f3 del supervolc\u00e0 Toba"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ara fa 75 000 anys, la humanitat va estar a punt d\u2019extingir-se.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Aquesta catastr\u00f2fica situaci\u00f3 es va deure a l\u2019enorme explosi\u00f3 del supervolc\u00e0 Toba, situat a al nord de l\u2019illa de Sumatra, a Indon\u00e8sia. La for\u00e7a d\u2019aquesta erupci\u00f3 va ser tan potent que \u00e9s considerada com l\u2019episodi volc\u00e0nic m\u00e9s violent dels \u00faltims 25 milions d\u2019anys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>L\u2019erupci\u00f3 del supervolc\u00e0<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Quan va erupcionar, el Toba va ejectar a l\u2019atmosfera una quantitat immensa de material: 2700 kil\u00f2metres c\u00fabics, dels quals 800 kil\u00f2metres c\u00fabics van ser en forma de cendres. El flux de lava originat del supervolc\u00e0 va destruir 20 mil kil\u00f2metres quadrats de terreny al voltant del Toba. Les cendres van arribar a escampar-se fins a uns 6 mil kil\u00f2metres al voltant del supervolc\u00e0, arribant fins a \u00c0frica i deixant un rastre de mort al seu pas. Les cendres acumulades a l\u2019illa Samosir (una petita illa envoltada pel llac Toba, on va tenir lloc l\u2019erupci\u00f3) van formar una capa de 600 metres de gruix, i les cendres que van arribar fins a l\u2019\u00cdndia (a uns 3 300 kil\u00f2metres) van formar capes de 6 metres de gruix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies de l\u2019erupci\u00f3<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Tenint en compte les enormes dimensions de l\u2019erupci\u00f3 del Toba, podem afirmar que, almenys a l\u2019illa de Sumatra, l\u2019erupci\u00f3 va acabar amb les formes de vida que hi havia en aquella \u00e8poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Els gasos i la cendra expulsats per l\u2019erupci\u00f3 del Toba que van quedar suspesos a l\u2019atmosfera, van impedir que entr\u00e9s la llum del Sol, pel que les temperatures del planeta van baixar de 3 a 5 \u00baC bruscament, i van continuar aix\u00ed durant uns quants anys despr\u00e9s de l\u2019erupci\u00f3. Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s el que anomenem un hivern volc\u00e0nic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Aquest canvi sobtat de les temperatures va tenir conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies desastroses en les formes de vida que vivien al planeta, i la falta de llum solar va provocar la mort de gran part de la vegetaci\u00f3 existent. Sense restes comestibles de les quals alimentar-se, molts humans i animals van morir, i les cendres van fer morir asfixiats a molts individus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>La quasi extinci\u00f3 dels \u00e9ssers humans, i el nostre ADN<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Abans de l\u2019erupci\u00f3 del supervolc\u00e0, es calcula que la poblaci\u00f3 dels <em>Hom<\/em><em>o<\/em><em> S\u00e0piens <\/em>estava situada entre 100 000 i 300 000 individus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A causa de les cendres, falta de menjar i aigua, i els efectes medi-ambientals que van seguir l\u2019erupci\u00f3 del Toba, aquesta xifra va baixar fins als 2 000. Els humans que van sobreviure segurament vivien en petites tribus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Podem veure reflectides les proves d\u2019aquesta quasi extinci\u00f3 en el nostre ADN. Si comparem l\u2019ADN entre dos \u00e9ssers humans veiem que \u00e9s quasi id\u00e8ntic. En canvi, entre dos ximpanz\u00e9s qualssevol hi pot haver m\u00e9s variaci\u00f3 gen\u00e8tica que en tota la poblaci\u00f3 humana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">El fet de que nom\u00e9s uns 2 000 individus sobrevisquessin a l\u2019erupci\u00f3 del Toba explica perfectament aquest fenomen.
