Si la tirem amb m\u00e9s for\u00e7a, arribar\u00e0 m\u00e9s amunt. Si repetim aquest proc\u00e9s (amb la suficient energia), arribaria un moment en el qual la pedra es trobaria en una constant caiguda, \u00e9s a dir, estaria en \u00f2rbita. Tot i aix\u00ed, la pedra encara no hauria escapat del camp gravitatori terrestre. Per fer-ho, necessitaria anar a una velocitat encara m\u00e9s alta, de manera que escap\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00f2rbita de la Terra i ja no caigu\u00e9s de nou a la seva superf\u00edcie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La velocitat d\u2019escapament \u00e9s aquella que permet a un objecte propulsat sortir del camp gravitatori d\u2019un planeta, estrella o qualsevol altre cos celeste. Un cop superada, el cos celeste no pot retenir res. Aquesta velocitat varia en funci\u00f3 de cada planeta, lluna o estrella. Com m\u00e9s massa tingui el cos del que volem escapar, m\u00e9s alta ser\u00e0 la velocitat d\u2019escapament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A partir de les equacions de Newton dedu\u00efm l\u2019equaci\u00f3 (explicada posteriorment) que ens permet calcular la velocitat d\u2019escapament d\u2019un cos. En el cas de la Terra \u00e9s de 11,2 km\/s, i \u00e9s la velocitat a la que han d\u2019arribar els coets a l\u2019hora d\u2019enviar sondes a altres planetes. En el cas de la Lluna, la velocitat d\u2019escapament \u00e9s molt m\u00e9s baixa, de nom\u00e9s de 2,4 km\/s, i en el cas de J\u00fapiter, la velocitat requerida per escapar del seu camp gravitatori \u00e9s de 59,6 km\/s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Equaci\u00f3 de la velocitat d\u2019escapament<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Per calcular la velocitat necess\u00e0ria a la que ha d\u2019arribar un objecte qualsevol per sortir, per exemple, del camp gravitatori d\u2019un planeta, utilitzem dos masses: <em>M<\/em>, que representa la massa del planeta, i <em>m<\/em>, que \u00e9s la massa de l\u2019objecte propulsat. Es considera que l\u2019energia cin\u00e8tica d\u2019aquest objecte ha d\u2019igualar l\u2019energia potencial gravitat\u00f2ria que el lliga al planeta del que es vol escapar. Qualsevol energia cin\u00e8tica a la que arribi l\u2019objecte, que sigui igual o superior a la for\u00e7a gravitat\u00f2ria del planeta, el permetr\u00e0 sortir del seu camp gravitatori.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A les equacions seg\u00fcents, <em>m<\/em> representa la massa de l\u2019objecte, i <em>M<\/em> \u00e9s la massa del cos celeste. (Si ens trobem a la superf\u00edcie, <em>r <\/em>ser\u00e0 igual al radi del cos).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">D\u2019aquesta equaci\u00f3 dedu\u00efm que, com m\u00e9s gran sigui la massa del cos celeste, m\u00e9s alta ser\u00e0 la velocitat d\u2019escapament, per\u00f2 com m\u00e9s gran sigui el radi (<em>r<\/em>), menor ser\u00e0 la velocitat requerida per sortir del camp gravitatori del cos. Per tant, la velocitat d\u2019escapament dep\u00e8n de com sigui de forta la gravetat des d\u2019on es llan\u00e7a l\u2019objecte. Com m\u00e9s a dalt estigui en \u00f2rbita l\u2019objecte, m\u00e9s baixa ser\u00e0 la velocitat d\u2019escapament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La velocitat d\u2019escapament no dep\u00e8n de la massa de l\u2019objecte llan\u00e7at. El que s\u00ed que es requerir\u00e0, com m\u00e9s massiu sigui l\u2019objecte, ser\u00e0 un coet m\u00e9s potent, per\u00f2 la velocitat a la que haur\u00e0 d\u2019arribar \u00e9s la mateixa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>La velocitat d\u2019escapament i l\u2019atmosfera<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Com m\u00e9s petit sigui un cos celeste, m\u00e9s baixa ser\u00e0 la seva velocitat d\u2019escapament, i aix\u00f2 condiciona l\u2019atmosfera dels planetes, llunes&#8230; Com he dit anteriorment, la velocitat d\u2019escapament de la Lluna \u00e9s de 2,4 km\/s, i aix\u00f2 explica per qu\u00e8 la Lluna no t\u00e9 atmosfera, ja que les mol\u00e8cules adquireixen f\u00e0cilment velocitats superiors a la d\u2019escapament i la Lluna no pot retenir-les. En el cas de la Terra aquest fenomen passa amb les mol\u00e8cules m\u00e9s lleugeres, com les d\u2019hidrogen o les d\u2019heli, que s\u2019escapen de l\u2019atmosfera terrestre i <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmoespai.com\/cat\/2021\/05\/07\/la-terra-saprima-57-000-tones-cada-any\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fan perdre pes a la Terra<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En canvi, el Sol \u00e9s tan massiu, i la velocitat d\u2019escapament tan alta (de 620 km\/s), que ni tan sols l\u2019hidrogen o l\u2019heli en poden escapar. Aquests dos elements (per\u00f2 sobre tot l\u2019hidrogen), s\u00f3n els que, sotmesos a grans pressions al centre del Sol, es fusionen, alliberant en el proc\u00e9s enormes quantitats d\u2019energia. Aquest proc\u00e9s \u00e9s conegut com a fusi\u00f3 nuclear, i \u00e9s d\u2019on treu el Sol la seva energia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u00d2bviament, la massa no \u00e9s l\u2019\u00fanic factor que determina quina atmosfera t\u00e9 un planeta o lluna. Els rajos solars i c\u00f2smics, que s\u00f3n part\u00edcules carregades el\u00e8ctricament, poden fer evaporar i enviar a l\u2019espai les atmosferes de molts cossos celestes. Aquest fenomen t\u00e9 lloc a Mart, on cada cop hi ha menys atmosfera per aquesta causa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Velocitat d\u2019escapament insuperable<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Com hem vist, les velocitats d\u2019escapament s\u00f3n diverses i varien en cada cos celeste. Tot i aix\u00ed, hi ha llocs tan massius a l\u2019univers, que ni tan sols anant a la velocitat de la llum, que \u00e9s la m\u00e9s r\u00e0pida a l\u2019univers, no en podr\u00edem escapar. Aquests llocs s\u00f3n els forats negres. Encara que emetessin llum, aquesta es quedaria atrapada i no en podria sortir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Un cop passat el que anomenem horitz\u00f3 d\u2019esdeveniments, ja no hi hauria marxa enrere. En aquell moment seria impossible escapar del forat negre. Al centre d\u2019una d\u2019aquestes b\u00e8sties hi ha un lloc anomenat singularitat, on la deformaci\u00f3 de l\u2019espai-temps seria infinita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Coneixent la massa i la velocitat d\u2019escapament d\u2019un cos qualsevol, podem saber el radi que hauria d\u2019ocupar el cos per convertir-se en un forat negre.
