A l\u2019espai no es poden sentir sons, i si n\u2019hi ha, s\u00f3n massa baixos per a que la nostra o\u00efda els pugui sentir. Els sons a l\u2019espai no podran ser mai escoltats amb les nostres orelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>A qu\u00e8 es deu?<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">El so \u00e9s una ona de pressi\u00f3, i per aquest motiu necessita un mitj\u00e0 el\u00e0stic per a poder propagar-se. Aquest mitj\u00e0 el proporcionen les mol\u00e8cules de gas. L\u2019espai no \u00e9s un mitj\u00e0 el\u00e0stic, i per aix\u00f2 \u00e9s molt improbable que hi puguem sentir cap so. Tot i aix\u00ed, aix\u00f2 no significa que a l\u2019espai no hi hagi sorolls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Quan una objecte es mou, ja sigui la corda d\u2019una guitarra o un foc artificial, actua sobre les mol\u00e8cules d\u2019aire pr\u00f2ximes a ell. Aquestes mol\u00e8cules xoquen contra les que tenen m\u00e9s a prop, que a la vegada xoquen contra les seg\u00fcents. Aquest moviment, que es propaga per l\u2019aire com si fos una ona, \u00e9s el que, quan arriba a l\u2019o\u00efda, \u00e9s interpretat com un so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><u><strong>Es podrien escoltar sorolls a l\u2019espai?<\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Tot i que en una petita quantitat, a l\u2019espai hi ha gasos , els quals permeten que les ones de so es propaguin. Per\u00f2 el gas interestel\u00b7lar \u00e9s molt menys dens que l\u2019atmosfera terrestre. L\u2019aire de l\u2019atmosfera de la Terra t\u00e9 uns 30 trilions de milions d\u2019\u00e0toms per cent\u00edmetre c\u00fabic. En comparaci\u00f3, a l\u2019espai exterior hi ha una mitja de menys de 2 \u00e0toms per cent\u00edmetre c\u00fabic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Encara que estigu\u00e9ssim al costat d\u2019un n\u00favol de pols, que cont\u00e9 molts gasos, i un so s\u2019aprop\u00e9s a nosaltres, nom\u00e9s alguns \u00e0toms per segon arribarien als nostres timpans, la qual cosa no seria suficient per a que pogu\u00e9ssim sentir res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Aquest fenomen tamb\u00e9 t\u00e9 lloc a Mart. La densitat de l\u2019atmosfera de Mart \u00e9s solament d\u2019un 1% en comparaci\u00f3 a la nostra atmosfera. A la Terra, degut a la seva gran densitat d\u2019aire, un so pot rec\u00f3rrer una dist\u00e0ncia d\u2019un kil\u00f2metre abans de ser absorbit per l\u2019aire, per\u00f2 a Mart un so seria inaudible per nosaltres despr\u00e9s d\u2019haver recorregut 15 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">L\u2019espai mai est\u00e0 en silenci, sempre hi ha diferents sons, encara que siguin massa d\u00e8bils per poder ser escoltats. Un d\u2019ells, el forat negre anomenat <em>Ch<\/em><em>andra<\/em>,<em> <\/em>situat a les gal\u00e0xies de Perseu, a uns 250 milions d\u2019anys llum de la Terra, emet un so que va ser detectat per un dels sat\u00e8l\u00b7lit-observatori de rajos X de la NASA al 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Per\u00f2 malgrat que sigui \u00abvist\u00bb, aquest soroll que emet el forat negre <em>Chandra<\/em>, mai podr\u00e0 ser escoltat per la o\u00efda humana. En efecte, \u00e9s 57 octaves m\u00e9s greu que un do mig: m\u00e9s de mil milions de vegades m\u00e9s greu que el que un hum\u00e0 pot escoltar. El so m\u00e9s profund que un hum\u00e0 pot escoltar t\u00e9 un cicle d\u2019aproximadament una oscil\u00b7laci\u00f3 cada 1\/20 de segon.
